Re: Duik Motion Paths

Hi,

This is weird, Duik controllers are not different from any layer in after effects, and their motion paths should be visible too...

Can you send me your project with the animation so I can have a look?
Or post a screenshot of the timeline with the keyframes visible?

Thanks!

Re: Parent a duik (auto rig) controller?

Hi, To parent a controller created by the autorig, you have to check first if it already has any parent. If it does, check if this parent is a "zero" - a null layer which name begins with "zero". In that case, it is this parent, this zero, you must reparent instead of parenting the controller itself...

Re: Change Comp-Settings

Hi,

Yes, the only thing you need to be careful is resizing the comp: you'll need to go to the second tab in the comp settings (i don't remember how it's called)
And check the upper left corner as the pivot for resizing!

Re: Feature Request for v16

Sounds great,
I'm already developping a "duplicate" tool, duplicate and mirror seems a useful feature too ;)

Adding this to the features of duik16 !

Re: Feature Request for v16

We've planned to update the expressions used by Duik to make mirroring a character easier, and to add a "flip" control on the autorig, is this what you mean or do you think about something else?
(Sorry I don't have time to watch the c4d video you posted right now ;) )

Re: duik error autorig

Hi, This is explained in this topic: http://forum.rainboxprod.coop/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=94 You have to be careful of the order of the layers in the stack in the timeline. In your example, I think moving temporarily the spine layer to the index 9 should fix the issue. You could bring it back to the i...

What exactly does go wrong when you change the durations?
Expression errors ? Anything else ?

Re: Duik stopped working

Hi, I think this is an installation problem, it happens sometimes... see this topic: http://forum.rainboxprod.coop/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=24 If you have any problem with the presetEffects.xml file, you can simply download the needed one from github: https://github.com/Rainbox-dev/Duik/tree/master/patc...

Re: Scaling a rigged Figure?

Hi, The safiest way right now to scale a whole rig is to precompose it... I know it's not the most user friendly way to animate, but with a lot of expressions in the rig, without having to adjust them, there's no other way. BTW, We're working on those expressions to make the rigs scalable in Duik 16...
