automatic walk cycle - character does not stop moving

Post by henrygriin » Mon Jul 06, 2020 10:48 am

hi
I added the auto walk cycle.
set keyframes for walking speed, so that they stand, then speed up and walk, then slow down and stand.
but when they reach the 0 speed keyframe, character keeps moving, like hopping from one foot to another on the spot.
setting keyframes for 'general motion' to start from 0 and reach 0 as well solves this issue.
seems like the motion parameter gets excluded from the walk speed script for some reason, so they are not linked.
this was not so when I last used duik, which was maybe 6 months ago. has this behaviour changed since then and now I should animate them separately?

Hi

That's the intended behavior, and has always been ;)
To start/stop the cycle you have to use the general motion parameter

Okay, thanks
And sorry, I guess I accidentally flipped myself into 'stupid mode' when exiting the bed that morning.
