Locking layers after making IK chain
Locking layers after making IK chain
I've been rigging a lot of insects lately, which means lots of layers - 18 layers just for the legs and feet. Your IK tool has been very useful, but I have a feature request: when the user creates an IK chain it would be good if they had the option of locking and shy-ing the upper layers of the chain, leaving just the goal unlocked and un-shied. I always end up doing it manually after making an IK chain, it would be great if this step could be done automatically.
Re: Locking layers after making IK chain
That's a good idea!
We're going to add the option in the settings panel in a future update (probably 15.5, in a few weeks).
Thanks!
