I'm not sure of the issue. When you rig auto-rig a leg, you get one controller shaped like a foot that will control the whole leg structure.

Typically, I put the FOOT pin/bone at the ankle, the TOE pin/bone about the mid point of the foot, and the TOETIP pin/bone at the tip. Also, are you using the FOOT ROLL control or the TOE control to get the toe tap? I would recommend using the FOOT ROLL and HEEL controllers to do what you're looking...

Are you using separate layers or the puppet tool/bones and how close are your toe and toe-tip tags?

Try adjusting the hand rotation as you move the arm.

Try adjusting the secondary controls in the walk cycle. Things like arm swing and softness might do the trick. Also, where do you have your arm structures parented?

I've done it in Adobe Character Animator where the speed of the walking can be matched to the body movement...
