Re: When using extract controllers on master properties, resulting controllers don't move
When you extract controllers using master props (which have been renamed essential props lately), you should see a big bunch of these essential/master props on the precomposition layer of the character, with expressions in them, can you check that? If not can you send me an aep so I can have a look?...

Merci de nous prévenir, on ne savait pas !
On va regarder ça ; si il faut on a un peu de stock on pourrait prendre le relai.
C'est pour livrer en France ou ailleurs ?

Re: Dume export to QT Animation
Je suis vraiment pas certain que le codec Animation (qui est du RLE en fait) ne puisse être réglé ; si je ne me trompe pas, le QT Animation/RLE est une compression sans perte, et sans réglage de qualité...

Re: Mocap->Duik?
I don't know, it depends on your rig, the motion data, etc. There are a lot of possibilities, connecting structures, or the controllers, etc... with either simple expression links or more complex ones involving conditipns, math, ... you have to try and see.

Re: Mocap->Duik?
You can use expressions to connect the properties from a Duik rig to the layers with the mocap data.
But if the character moves in perspective, you'll probably have some maths/conversions/adjustments to do to adjust the motion to a 2D space like Duik rigs

Re: Rig sets up away from character
The rig is created in the center of the comp, you have to move the structures to their correct location after creation. That's how Duik works, it can't detect which limb each layer represents.

Re: How to stop hand rotating independently from arm?
It means it was animated using IK instead of FK. A run cycle should have been animated in FK exactly to avoid this kind of things, it's much easier.
Deactivate the IK and animate the FK controls. There is documentation, the official one is pretty comprehensive: duik-docs.rainboxlab.org
