Parent rig after IK and animation is done

Post by CPowerMav » Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:05 pm

I have created some arm bones and have animated the arms of my character. Now the client wants me to move the character over but when i try to parent the arms to the body, it breaks or the IK gets weird. Is there a transform control or any other way to move/parent the rig after the rig has been made? Thank you in advance! I am new to Duik!

Hi,

You should be able to just parent the structure of the arm (the root, only the first element of the structure) to the torso (or any other part of the character)

This depends on how you've made the rig and the design, can you post more details and/or a screenshot/video capture?
