Layer cut off when rigged

Post by kevinburi » Tue Feb 12, 2019 9:27 am

Hi

I am currently trying to rig a bear silhouette, but when fully rigged and bones added, it cuts off part of the backside from the torso layer, when I move the body(check out screenshots).

Can someone help me and explain, whats going on and how to fix this?

Thanks

Kev

Are these shape layers?

You should check if the mesh expansion of the puppet is right, or maybe precompose the layers before using the puppet tool.

Thanks for your reply

Those are Layers importet from Adobe Illustrator (imported as composition, layersize retained). I tried to do exactly the same like in this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CltId9De6c

Should I probably set the puppets at different points or what do you mean?
